About 3 weeks ago at the Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner, there was a Chinese Auction (that my dear husband worked so hard to put together). There were about 40 items up for auction. The only one Neleah was interested in was the Tae Kwon Do free birthday party. She placed ALL of her tickets in that bag hoping to win. And... she did! Today was the day to celebrate.
Master Chong's did an amazing job. I almost felt guilty! They did EVERYTHING!! Played games with the kids, bought and served them pizza, ordered and served the cake and opened presents with Neleah. They even packed them nicely in a box for home. It was wonderful... I had a lot of time to shoot some good pictures.
The highlights of the party...
Neleah smiling from ear to ear the entire time. It was very fun and special for her.
Neleah breaking her first board. She LOVED that!
Enjoying time with friends.
Nevada responding, when asked if she was going to have some pizza, "No, I don't like pizza. And, I gave it up for Lent!" (She totally likes pizza and she DIDN'T give it up for Lent, which in fact was over on Easter Sunday!)
Oh, and then...
As everyone was singing "Happy Birthday" to Neleah, she tried to blow out her candles. She tried once... no success. She tried a 2nd time.... no success. She took a really deep breath and blew really hard.... so hard, in fact, that she had a very large gastric explosion from the other end. Imagine... all kids super quiet waiting for her blow out the candles... only to be interrupted by the loudest toot imaginable. We laughed really, really hard. She did great... laughed right along with us. She wasn't too embarrassed!
Never a dull moment!
