Isabelle Rose is our daughter. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 at our 20 week routine sonogram. We chose to carry her full term and allow God to make the decision about whether Isabelle would live or not. I felt her kick just before she was born, but sadly she was born not breathing. We chose not to have her put on life support, but instead chose to make as many memories as we could with her. We introduced her to our two older boys, had her baptized, got two beautiful plaques of her hand and foot print, held her, snuggled her, dressed her in a beautiful outfit and said good bye to her. She will always remain our daughter. She taught us to love more unconditionally than we had ever known, to trust and lean on each other and to know how much good there is in the world. She changed our world forever. We know Grandma Walker and Grandpa Rydzynski are taking good care of her in Heaven until we can meet her again ourselves.

Cool! Congrats Nolan! When we did Tae Kwon Do in Korea the belts went blue, red, black--is it different here?
